The Vine (or in Greek Η ΑΜΠΕΛΟC ) depicts Jesus sitting at the top of a many branched grape vine and the Twelve Apostles sitting around him on each of the 12 branches.
It’s a wall hung piece, very detailed and colorful byzantine style icon. The icon image is high quality print byzantine style with gold leaf paper mounted on wood around 12mm to 15mm thickness with a varnish (non toxic) layer ensuring waterproofing. The icon is made with true iconography colors and it is a copy of a Byzantine icon with certification on the back .
